Robert J. Pinizzotto, Esquire

Bob Pinizzotto was born and raised in Hammonton, New Jersey where he maintains his law office, The Law Offices of Robert J. Pinizzotto, Esquire, LLC.  After attending Rutgers University, obtaining a B.A. in Political Science, Bob attended the University of Dayton School of Law where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree in 1983.  Bob was then employed as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Rudolph J. Rossetti, J.S.C. and, among other duties as a clerk, worked on hundreds of municipal court appeals for the Camden Vicinage.

After working for two law firms with heavy concentrations in the municipal court arena, Bob went "solo," opening his law office in his "home" town of Hammonton. Along with Nicole E. Wise, Esquire, Bob's law office handles many matters including municipal court, criminal, family/divorce/custody, personal injury and other areas as well.  And if Bob and Nicole cannot handle your particular matter, they will refer your matter to an appropriate attorney that has that particular area of knowledge to handle your case. Bob's web site may be viewed HERE.

During his approximate 30 years of practice in New Jersey, Bob has served as the appointed municipal prosecutor in many jurisdictions, as well as having served as public defender and municipal solicitor.  In addition to holding the "appointed " position of municipal prosecutor, he has also prosecuted for many other municipalities when called upon for numerous cases and handled many difficult, "conflict" cases arising from municipal court matters.

Bob is/was a member of the New State Bar Association, the Atlantic County Bar Association, the Atlantic County Municipal Prosecutors' Association (former Past President) and is/was the Founding Member and Past President of the New Jersey State Municipal Prosecutors' Association.  Bob has also founded another group of attorneys, now totaling more than 150, that have a particular interest in municipal court and criminal matters.  He is licensed to practice law not only in the State of New Jersey, but in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of Maine and most recently, the State of West Virginia.

Most recently, in 2014, Bob has been Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Municipal Court Trial Attorney, being in the inaugural group of 21 attorneys being so designated in the State.

Bob has been a presenter/lecturer for numerous entities including the State of New Jersey Attorney Generals' Office, the New Jersey State Municipal Prosecutors' Association, Garden State CLE and various other continuing legal education entities.

Although an experienced municipal prosecutor and municipal court practitioner, Bob would like to stress to all law enforcement personnel that the answers to questions posed, although researched and having a basis in New Jersey law, and based on his training and experience, officers should verify their actions with the command staff of their individual departments and should seek the legal advice and opinions of their respective municipal professionals.
